Game Notes: The Tigers welcome the Guardians to town in a two-game series. This series will also wrap up the season series against the AL Central opponent. The Tigers lead the season series 6-5 in the 2024 campaign.

Jack Flaherty was set to be on the mound for Monday's contest, which could've been Flaherty's last game in a Tigers uniform, but he was scratched Monday afternoon to avoid risk on injury, which was confirmed by the Freep's Evan Petzold.

The MLB trade deadline is set for Tuesday at 6 p.m. ET and the Tigers are set to be sellers, with Flaherty at the top of the list of players expected to be traded for prospects.

Flaherty has pitched great for the Tigers this season and is expected to have a solid market from playoff contending teams.
