Deadpool & Wolverine are bringing the X-Men to the Marvel Cinematic Universe and fans absolutely cannot wait to see how this affects the future of superpowered world. And while there are obviously some major things that we would be excited about like tons of surprising cameos and other big twists, there is still one question on our mind: is there a post-credit scene? After all, this is a Marvel movie. It is tradition! But Deadpool has never been one to follow tradition, so there's always a chance that he has something different up his sleeve.

Listen, we felt like it was our journalistic (and Marvel fanatic) duty to stay past the final moments as the credits rolled to find the answer to this. And while we excitedly at our popcorn and finished the last bits of our soda so we can get a refill before heading out of the theater, we found out that there is a post-credit scene!

Oops, I totally missed it. What happens in Deadpool & Wolverine post-credit scene?

So there's actually two surprises after the movie ends. The first is a beautiful video yearbook tribute to the cast of the X-Men films and other movies that were not part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe like Fantastic Four, Elektra, and Blade. It's actually kind of emotional and we'd like to blame Green Day's "Time of Your Life" for that.

And then there's some more credits until the official post-credit scene that is something totally new for fans. In it, we see Deadpool back at the TVA and he clearly has something big to say: he wasn't making anything of it up. And we're obviously talking about him quoting Johnny Storm's thoughts about Cassandra Nova. Using the special TVA's screens, Wade rewinds back to when Johnny was with him and Wolverine after they got captured. There we see Johnny say, quote for quote, what Wade told Cassandra he said. So no, he's not really the reason why Johnny is dead. Although, he sort of is. But don't tell him we said that.
