People living in Shropshire reported a loud bang as thunder and lightning swept the county.

A video posted on social media captured the sound in Bridgnorth as Storm Gerrit brought high winds.

Elsewhere in the county, flood warnings have been put in place for Maesbrook and Melverley following rainfall.
