Bengals Agree To Trade Finley And Release Atkins, Hart

The Bengals today have agreed to trade QB Ryan Finley to the Houston Texans and terminated the contracts of DT Geno Atkins and OT Bobby Hart.

*Finley, a third-year player out of North Carolina State, originally was a fourth-round pick of the Bengals in 2019.

*Atkins, a 12th-year player out of the University of Georgia, originally was a fourth-round pick of the Bengals in 2010. In his 11 seasons in Cincinnati, Atkins compiled 75.5 sacks, third-most in team history and more than double the amount of the next-highest DT. Additionally, his eight Pro Bowl selections are the most ever by a Bengals defensive player, and second-most in team history overall.

*Hart, a seventh-year player out of Florida State University, joined the Bengals in 2018 after spending his first three seasons ('15-17) with the N.Y. Giants.
