The queen of margaritas That Chick Angel chatted with Billboard News’ Tetris Kelly about the viral success of her track “One Margarita (Margarita Song),” what it was like working with Saucy Santana, Flo Milli, FendiDa Rappa and Sexyy Red on different versions of the song, and explains how that Cindy Crawford cameo came about.

It’s Tetris with Billboard News, hanging out with That Chick Angel, the girl behind the hit song “One Margarita.” We’re at Fiesta Cantina and I want to know: Can you do margaritas in a Billboard News interview?
That Chick Angel:
Absolutely.
Tetris Kelly:

Alright Angel, have a margarita if you’ve had Cindy Crawford in your music video.
That Chick Angel:
I don’t know if this margarita is big enough.
Tetris Kelly:
That was wild!

The first step was to get a feature. Me and Steve and Cassidy, we discussed who we really wanted on this song, and of course, Saucy Santana was at the top of the list because he’s fun. He is like a margarita. He’s like a walking margarita.
Tetris Kelly:
He’s a walking margarita. We love Saucy!
That Chick Angel:
They were like, “We should have a product placement. How about Casamigos?”
Tetris Kelly:
Oh!
That Chick Angel:
I was like, “OK! We like the Casamigos!” I didn’t realize that one of the owners of Casamigos is the husband of Cindy Crawford. You can’t tell me this ain’t the song of the summer when Cindy Crawford shows up.
Tetris Kelly:
It’s the song of the summer!
