From the belly laughs to the bagels, every moment of this year’s Borscht Belt Fest was a mitzvah. We want to thank all our performers, presenters, volunteers, and attendees for bringing the magic of the Borscht Belt Resort era back to life. Your energy and enthusiasm made this festival one for the books. Stay tuned for updates, and we'll see you next year! New Borscht Belt Museum Exhibition: “And Such Small Portions!”

The Borscht Belt Museum’s new exhibition, “And Such Small Portions!” Food and Comedy in the Catskills Resort Era celebrates the vibrant history, cherished rituals and irresistible humor of food and comedy in the Catskills Resort era.
Curated by Debra Schmidt Bach (New-York Historical Society), Steve Jaffe (Museum of the City of NY) and Mackensie Griffin, (Bard Graduate Center), this interactive visual journey is inspiring, educational and deliciously fun.
This exhibition is made possible through the generous support of the Chaya Fund, the Victor and Pearl Tumpeer Foundation, Slutsky Lumber and Timely Signs.
Due to the high volume of visitors during Borscht Belt Fest, we encourage advance ticket purchase for the museum on Saturday and Sunday.

Celebrating the Legacy
Borscht Belt Fest is a project of the Catskills Borscht Belt Museum, which is dedicated to preserving the legacy of the Borscht Belt resort era, and celebrating its history as a refuge from bigotry, the cradle of stand-up comedy and a cultural catalyst that left deep imprints on America.
Our current exhibition, “And Such Small Portions: Food & Comedy in the Catskills Resort Era,” run through November 15.
The festival includes indoor and outdoor venues, anchored by the museum’s home, the former Home National Bank, a 1928 landmark that is on the National Register of Historic Places.
