The respective link in the column "Internet address(es)" will lead you safely to the website of the corresponding online retailer. In addition, you will find contact details of retailers and the respective competent authorities.
The following key combinations make it easier for you to search in the overviews:
- Press the "Ctrl" and "F" keys simultaneously: a search field opens.
- Now enter your search term (e.g. name or location of the dealer). Press the Enter key.

The online veterinary medicine retailer you are looking for is not included?
You cannot find the online veterinary medicine retailer in the list? This may be due to the following reasons:
- The online retailer has a permission for online trade with VMPs, but is not yet registered.
- The online retailer has no permission for online trade of VMPs.
- The online retailer is not located in Germany; you may be able to find him on the site of another EU member state (https://www.ema.europa.eu/en/veterinary-regulatory/overview/buying-veterinary-medicines-online).
Are online veterinary medicine retailers from other EU member states also allowed to send veterinary medicinal products to Germany?
Yes, but please note that online retailers from other EU Member States may only send VMPs to Germany that are authorised in Germany and classified as non-prescription. There may be differences between Member States in the classification of VMPs offered.
Each EU country keeps its own register of online retailers for VMPs located in the respective country. You can recognise registered retailers by the EU safety logo with the flag of the respective country on their websites. For more information on online retailers in other European Member States, please visit the European Medicines Agency (EMA) page.
