Foudy signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Islanders on Wednesday, per PuckPedia.

Foudy is a veteran of 102 NHL games over the last five seasons, but he has just seven goals and 15 assists to his name. He split time between the Blue Jackets and Predators last season. Foudy offers modest physicality that will likely help his cause, but he's not a lock to make the Islanders' Opening Night roster.

Hayton (lower body) signed a two-year, $5.3 million deal with Utah on Monday.

Hayton was banged up last year and multiple injuries caused him to miss nearly 50 games. He was held to just three goals and 10 points in 33 appearances. He averaged 17:01 of ice time as a top-six staple but never quite found his groove offensively. The 24-year-old forward scored a career-high 43 points during the 2022-23 campaign and should be in line for at least similar production if he can stay on the ice this upcoming season.

Lavoie inked a one-year, two-way contract with Edmonton on Monday.

Lavoie played in seven NHL regular-season games this past year in which he registered zero points, four shots on goal and 13 hits while averaging 7:17 of ice time. Even with a new deal in hand, the 23-year-old center is unlikely to start the season on the NHL roster, instead playing the bulk of his games with AHL Bakersfield in the minors.

Douglas signed a two-year, two-way contract with Utah on Sunday.

Douglas chipped in five goals, 21 points and 148 PIM in 57 regular-season contests for AHL Tucson in 2023-24. He will likely begin the upcoming campaign in the minors. The 24-year-old forward doesn't have any NHL experience yet.

Gustafsson signed a two-year, $1.67 million contract with the Jets on Saturday.

Gustafsson had three goals and seven points in 39 regular-season appearances in 2023-24 for the Jets. The Swedish native also picked up three helpers in six AHL regular-season games with Manitoba. Gustafsson will probably occupy a bottom-six spot with Winnipeg in the upcoming campaign.

Savoie was acquired by the Oilers from the Sabres on Friday in exchange for Ryan McLeod and Tyler Tullio, per Jason Gregor of Sports 1440 Edmonton.

Savoie had 19 goals and 47 points across 23 regular-season contests with WHL Moose Jaw in 2023-24 and then provided another 10 goals and 24 points across 19 playoff outings. He also got his first taste of NHL action Nov. 10 with Buffalo, though he logged just 3:55 of ice time in that appearance and didn't record a shot or point. The 20-year-old was selected by the Sabres with the No. 9 overall pick in the 2022 NHL Draft. While he has plenty of potential, Savoie shouldn't be counted on to make an impact with Edmonton in 2024-25.

Koivula signed a two-year contract with the Vaxjo Lakers of the SHL on Thursday, Stefen Rosner of NHL.com reports.

A fourth-round pick in 2016, Koivula ended up playing in 28 games over parts of three seasons with the Islanders. He managed just four assists, and after spending all of 2023-24 with AHL Bridgeport, the 25-year-old will try his luck in Europe. He did not accrue enough service time with the Islanders for them to retain his rights, so he is considered a Group 6 unrestricted free agent should he make his way back to North America in the future.

Zohorna agreed to terms on a one-year contract with Swiss club HC Lugano on Thursday, Seth Rorabaugh of Tribune-Review Sports reports.

Zohorna played in 33 regular-season games for the Penguins last year in which he generated four goals, three assists and 38 shots while averaging just 9:46 of ice time. Undrafted coming out of the Czech league, the 28-year-old winger spent four years trying to make it in North America but will now return to Europe to extend his playing career.

Thompson signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Islanders on Wednesday, per PuckPedia.

Thompson was acquired by the Islanders in November of 2023 in a minor-league trade. The 24-year-old has just 11 games of NHL experience, and none of them came in 2023-24, so it's likely that he'll spend most of the upcoming campaign at AHL Bridgeport.

Sokolov signed a one-year, two-way contract with Utah HC on Tuesday.

Sokolov notched 21 goals and 46 points in 71 regular-season games for AHL Belleville in 2023-24. He has one goal and one helper in 13 career NHL appearances. Sokolov will probably begin the 2024-25 campaign in the minors. He was acquired by Utah HC from Ottawa last Wednesday in exchange for Jan Jenik.

Raska signed a one-year, two-way deal with Minnesota on Monday, per PuckPedia.

Raska has been held without a point in 13 career NHL appearances, including five last year with the Wild. The 22-year-old winger scored three goals and seven points in 49 games with AHL Iowa in 2023-24. He'll likely spend most of the 2024-25 season at the AHL level.

Slavin signed a two-year, two-way contract with Carolina on Sunday.

Slavin registered 10 goals and 24 points in 70 regular-season contests with AHL Toronto in 2023-24. The 25-year-old forward has one assist in 15 career NHL contests. Slavin will likely spend most of the 2024-25 campaign in the minors, so he may not get the opportunity to play in the same lineup as his older brother, Jaccob, in the big league.

Walker agreed to terms on a one-year, two-way contract with Minnesota on Thursday.

Walker has just 13 games of NHL experience under his belt over the last two seasons, including four games during the 2023-24 campaign in which he recorded zero points, three shots and two hits. While the 25-year-old winger could get the occasional call-up this upcoming season, he will likely spend the bulk of the year in the minors with AHL Iowa.

Emberson (lower body) inked a one-year, $950,000 contract with San Jose on Thursday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.

Emberson saw action in 30 regular-season games with the Sharks last year in which he notched one goal, nine assists and 94 hits while averaging 18:33 of ice time. The Wisconsin native should be in the mix for a full-time NHL roster spot this year, which sets him up well to offer decent mid-range fantasy value given his offensive upside.

Moser signed a two-year, $6.75 million contract with the Lightning on Thursday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.

Moser was recently dealt to Tampa Bay with Conor Geekie, a 2025 second-round pick and a 2024 seventh-round pick (Noah Steen) for Mikhail Sergachev. Moser had five goals, 21 assists, 99 hits and 112 blocked shots in 80 regular-season appearances for the Coyotes in 2023-24. Look for Moser to be a second-pairing blueliner with Tampa Bay next season.

Coghlan signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Jets on Wednesday, per PuckPedia.

Coghlan made just one NHL appearance in 2023-24, though he put up 41 points in 61 games with AHL Springfield. The Jets acquired him from the Hurricanes via trade earlier in July. Coghlan's not guaranteed an NHL roster spot this season, though he'll have the chance to compete for one in training camp now that he's under contract.

Suter signed a one-year, $775,000 contract with the Blues on Wednesday.

Suter was bought out by the Stars in June, the second time he's been bought out since 2021. The 39-year-old defenseman has the ability to earn an additional $2.225 million in performance bonuses. Suter remains capable as a third-pairing defenseman, but after posting 17 points in 82 regular-season contests last year, there is virtually no upside in his game for fantasy purposes.

Drysdale has resumed skating after undergoing surgery in April, Adam Kimelman of NHL.com reports Wednesday.

Kimelman also reported that Drysdale underwent sports hernia surgery -- the defenseman's procedure had previously been undisclosed. The 22-year-old Toronto native is on track to be ready for training camp, though it will be worth checking in on his status once the Flyers report Sept. 22.

Sawchenko signed a one-year, two-way contract with Columbus on Sunday.

Sawchenko posted a 4-1-0 record with a 2.12 GAA and a .924 save percentage in six regular-season appearances for AHL Abbotsford in 2023-24. He also went 2-4-0 with a 2.96 GAA and an .898 save percentage in six outings during the playoffs with Vancouver's top minor-league affiliate. The 26-year-old netminder will probably spend most, if not all, of 2024-25 in the AHL.

Stauber secured a one-year, two-way contract with Utah HC on Friday.

Stauber played six NHL games back in 2022-23 with the Blackhawks but spent all of last season in the minors. With AHL Rockford, the 25-year-old backstop went 18-8-3 with a .902 save percentage and 2.85 GAA in 31 AHL regular-season contests. Looking ahead to the upcoming season, Stauber figures to be the third netminder on the depth chart, at best, meaning he figures to spend most of the year in the minors.

Schmid signed a two-year, $1.75 million contract with the Golden Knights on Wednesday, per CapFriendly.

Schmid was traded from the Devils to the Golden Knights at the draft, but he did not receive a qualifying offer. This allowed the 24-year-old goalie to test free agency, but Vegas was able to get a deal done with him anyway. The Golden Knights also signed Ilya Samsonov on Monday to a one-year, $1.8 million deal, so it's likely Schmid will spend the bulk of 2024-25 at AHL Henderson.

Reimer inked a one-year, $1 million contract with Buffalo on Tuesday.

The 36-year-old Reimer will join an extremely young goalie group that includes Devon Levi (22), Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen (25) and recently signed Felix Sandstrom (27). Barring some standout performances in training camp, Reimer figures to enter the year as the No. 2 option behind Luukkonen, though he could be shipped down to the minors to serve as an emergency depth option as well.

Samsonov signed a one-year, $1.8 million deal with Vegas on Monday.

Samsonov went 23-7-8 during the regular season with Toronto last year despite producing a lackluster .890 save percentage. The 27-year-old appears to be the favorite to serve as the backup behind Adin Hill during the 2024-25 campaign. Samsonov has registered. 2.76 GAA and a .904 save percentage in 171 career NHL games.

Driedger signed a one-year contract with Florida on Monday.

Driedger will likely compete with Spencer Knight for the backup job behind Sergei Bobrovsky. Driedger spent two seasons with Florida before being taken by the Kraken during their expansion draft. Last season, he posted a strong 2.26 GAA and .917 save percentage in 39 regular-season appearances with AHL Coachella Valley. He then registered a .906 save percentage in 18 AHL postseason appearances. Driedger saw action in only two NHL games during the 2023-24 campaign.
