Yankees' Giancarlo Stanton: Back in starting lineup
Stanton is starting at DH and batting fourth Wednesday versus Philadelphia.
Stanton was activated off the injured list Monday and started at DH before beginning Tuesday's game on the bench. The slugger is back starting Wednesday, and he's in a prime position in the order, batting cleanup between Aaron Judge and the newly acquired Jazz Chisholm, who's hit four homers in his past two games. That could give Stanton ample run-producing and run-scoring opportunities, though he's gone hitless in five at-bats since his return.

Yankees' Giancarlo Stanton: Back from injured list
The Yankees activated Stanton (hamstring) from the 10-day injured list Monday, Chris Kirschner of The Athletic reports.
Stanton will skip a rehab assignment and go right back onto the active roster after missing the past month with a strained left hamstring. While Stanton should soak up most of the starts at designated hitter, the Yankees could also use Aaron Judge at that spot on some days while the newly acquired Jazz Chisholm plays the outfield.

Yankees' Giancarlo Stanton: Set to be activated Monday
Stanton (hamstring) remains on track to be activated from the 10-day injured list Monday, Gary Phillips of the New York Daily News reports.
Stanton has missed a month of action while recovering from a left hamstring strain, but he appears to be set to make his return to the major-league roster Monday in Philadelphia. The 34-year-old will skip a rehab assignment, and he'll attempt to pick up where he left off with the Yankees, having produced a 10-game hitting streak prior to going down with the injury.

Yankees' Giancarlo Stanton: Hoping to return Monday
Stanton (hamstring) is aiming to return for Monday's series opener against the Phillies, Gary Phillips of the New York Daily News reports.
Stanton has been on the injured list since June 23 due to a left hamstring strain. He hasn't been sent on a rehab assignment, but the 34-year-old slugger still appears poised to join the Yankees following a weekend series against the Red Sox. Stanton was slashing .304/.377/.551 with five home runs and 16 RBI in June before going on the IL.

Yankees' Giancarlo Stanton: Not expected back this weekend
Yankees manager Aaron Boone said Wednesday he's not expecting Stanton (hamstring) to return to action for the team's series versus Boston this weekend, Gary Phillips of the New York Daily News reports.
Stanton continued to do work on the field Wednesday, and Boone said he thinks the slugger is "towards the end of" his rehab. However, while the manager didn't rule out Stanton being activated at some point this weekend to face the Red Sox, he also indicated that such a scenario is not an expectation. It doesn't appear that Stanton has experienced a setback, so he seems likely to return to action next week if he remains out for the Boston series.
