Jackson is expected to miss about six weeks with a bruised scapula sustained during Wednesday's practice, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
Jackson came over from Detroit to Los Angeles on a deal that made him one of the highest paid guards in football during free agency, and he's now in jeopardy of missing the beginning of the Rams' 2024 campaign. Expect both Mike McAllister and KT Leveston to see increased work at left guard in Jackson's extended absence.

Rams' Jonah Jackson: Leaves Wednesday's practice
Jackson left Wednesday's camp session with an apparent arm injury, Cameron DaSilva of USA Today reports.
Jackson missed time earlier in the offseason due to a knee issue, and he now appears to have injured his left arm during Wednesday's practice. Once the first-year Ram is return to the field, he's expected to serve as the team's top left guard.

Rams' Jonah Jackson: Healthy for training camp
Jackson (knee) is not on the Rams' PUP list for the start of training camp, Stu Jackson of the team's official site reports.
Jackson was forced to miss the Lions' NFC Championship Game against the 49ers last season after sustaining a minor meniscus tear in the divisional round. The 2020 third-round pick out of Ohio State was limited to individual drills in OTAs, but the guard appears to be at full health for the start of training camp. After spending the first four years of his career with the Lions, Jackson signed a three-year, $51 million contract with the Rams in March.

Rams' Jonah Jackson: Limited in OTAs
Jackson (knee) participated in individual drills during OTAs, Adam Grosbard of The Orange Country Register reports.
Jackson sustained a minor meniscus tear in the Lions' divisional-round playoff win over the Buccaneers, forcing him out of the NFC Championship Game against the 49ers. He signed with the Rams on a three-year, $51 million deal in March, and coach Sean McVay noted that Jackson is expected to participate in 11-on-11 drills at some point during the offseason.
