Police charged Charles Primous, 24, of 4500 S. State St., with involuntary manslaughter in connection with the shooting death of a woman Sunday in the Chicago Housing Authority`s Robert Taylor Homes. Detective Robert Fields of the Wentworth Area said Primous surrendered to police after learning that he was being sought. The woman, Jacqueline Armstrong, 25, of 4500 S. State St., died in Michael Reese Hospital of a gunshot wound, police said. Primous told detectives that his gun went off accidentally after he used it to hit another person during an altercation involving the woman and four other people. One person was stabbed in the quarrel, police said.
