”Kate & Allie” (Susan Saint James and Jane Curtin) tackle a sensitive subject on Monday`s show in a special time at 7 p.m. on CBS-Ch. 2. Allie`s daughter, Jennie (Allison Smith) becomes the victim of sexual harassment.
Soon after she gets a job at a nearby coffee shop, the owner threatens to fire her if she refuses to allow him to proceed with his after-work plans for her. At first, she keeps the encounter from her mother, confessing the dilemma only to Kate`s daughter, Emma (Ari Meyers).
The shocked mothers eventually learn of the incident, and with their encouragement, Jennie decides to take matters into her own hands with regard to the man.
