Mass for Chicago police officer Theresa Manning-Ohse, 33, who died early Thursday in a car accident, will be said at 10 a.m. on Monday in St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church, 9837 S. Throop St.

She was killed when the car she was driving slammed into a railroad bridge abutment at 2530 W. 83d St. and burst into flames early Thursday. The body was identified through dental records Friday by the Cook County medical examiner.

Officer Manning-Ohse was assigned to the patrol division in the Monroe Street district and last worked on the 4 p.m. to midnight shift Wednesday, police said.

She had been a police officer since August, 1982. She was recently assigned to the patrol division in the Monroe Street district, and previously spent 14 months with the district`s tactical unit.

Survivors include her father and a son.
