Mass for John J. Brenner, 85, a retired payroll clerk for the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad, will be said at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Veronica Catholic Church, 3300 N. Whipple St. Mr. Brenner died Saturday in his Northwest Side home. He had worked for the railroad, now the Burlington Northern, for 47 years before retiring in 1968. Survivors include his wife, Josephine; a son, John Jr.; 2 daughters, Dolores Uhlig and Barbara Martorano; 11 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
