Services for Hyman J. ”Hy” Berg, 75, founder and president of two automobile parts companies, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel at 111 Skokie Blvd., Wilmette. Mr. Berg, of Wilmette, died Sunday in Northwestern Memorial Hospital. He was president of Berg Truck Parts and Amsco Parts Manufacturing Co. Inc., both at 1608 S. Wabash Ave.; he founded the firms in the early 1940s. Survivors include his wife, Etta; a daughter, Eunice Berman; a son, Howard; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters; and a brother.
