Mass for Bess V. Cody, 82, a onetime Chicago real estate broker, will be said at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Justin Catholic Church, Santa Clara, Calif. She died Monday in a San Jose hospital. Miss Cody, a Santa Clara resident since 1953, was a member of a Chicago real estate family. Her late father, Edmond Cody, was instrumental in developing the Belmont-Central Avenue area on the Northwest Side.
