Knight-Ridder Newspapers Inc. said it has purchased television stations in Oklahoma City, Mobile, Ala., and Tucson, Ariz., for a total of $160 million. Knight-Ridder acquired NBC affiliates KTVY-TV in Oklahoma City and WALA-TV in Mobile and CBS affiliate KOLD-TV in Tucson. The stations were acquired from Gannett Co. Inc.
