Buyer response has surprised even the sales staff at Sarah`s Grove townhouses in northwest suburban Schaumburg.
”Word of mouth and drive-by traffic has kept us busy since opening the sales office recently,” said Lynda Williams, sales manager for the new Town & Country development. ”We`ve already had 13 sales, although we really haven`t even started to advertise yet,” Williams said. ”We`ve gotten a great deal of positive comments.”
Sarah`s Grove is planned for 127 townhouses with four homestyles in Victorian exterior architecture priced from $92,900 to $104,900.
Two-car attached garages, master bathrooms with double bowl vanities and over-sized tubs, eat-in kitchens, formal dining rooms and vaulted ceilings are offered in the homes.
Priced from $92,900, the Avalon model is a two-bedroom, two-bath townhouse in a ranch design. The living room and dining room are accented with an angled ceiling and separated by an entry foyer.
The Brookshire, a two-story, 2 1/2-bath plan, has two master bedroom suites on the second floor, each with its own private bath, closet and dressing area. It is priced at $94,900.
With three bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths, the two-story Concord model has cathedral ceilings in all three bedrooms and the living room. Priced from $100,900, its 11 1/2-by-13-foot master bedroom suite has private bath and dressing area.
Largest of the models is the Richton, a three-bedroom, 2 1/2-bath two-story, priced from $104,900. The living room and adjoining dining room has a cathedral ceiling, and the family room with an optional fireplace opens to the kitchen. At the center of the second floor is a gallery that opens as a loft to the living room below.
All townhouses have private enclosed patio areas and fully landscaped and sodded homesites.
