Komatsu Ltd., the biggest Japanese maker of construction equipment, said it raised the dollar-based export prices of its products, effective last Friday. Komatsu, the second-largest construction equipment producer in the world after U.S.-based Caterpillar Tractor Co., said it raised prices an average of 5 percent. Last November, Komatsu raised prices an average of 7 percent.
