Weather officials are expecting isolated thunderstorm to move eastward across portions of northern Illinois and northwest Indiana Tuesday.
While isolated thunderstorms were expected Tuesday morning, mainly north of Waukegan, after sunset there is a chance a line of storms will weaken but still have a potential to be severe capable of producing wind gusts up to 60 mph west of I-39 Tuesday evening.
National Weather Service officials also warned of hazardous swimming conditions at Lake Michigan beaches along the Lake County shores.
Current conditions at Midway Airport is overcast at 76 degrees. Farther northwest at O’Hare International Airport conditions are overcast at 73 degrees.
