Dr. Sherri Tenpenny, an anti-vaccination proponent whose medical license was suspended in 2023 and reinstated in April, was sued by the U.S. Department of Justice, which accused her of failing to pay some $650,000 in taxes and fees.

CLEVELAND, Ohio — A prominent Middleburg Heights anti-vaccination doctor has failed to pay about $650,000 in federal taxes and late fees, according to a lawsuit filed by the U.S. Department of Justice.

Sherri Tenpenny, who burst into the national spotlight by testifying in front of Ohio lawmakers that the COVID-19 vaccine caused people to become magnetized, is accused of failing to pay taxes in 2001, 2012 and 2013.
