Cleveland’s Russo Brothers could return to direct Marvel’s next two ‘Avengers’ films

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Joe and Anthony Russo are in early talks to direct Marvel’s next two “Avengers” movies, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The Cleveland-born brothers have helmed four Marvel films in their career: “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” (2014) “Captain America: Civil War” (2016), “Avengers: Infinity War”(2018) and “Avengers: Endgame” (2019). Those films have earned a combined $6.7 billion at the box office.
