CLEVELAND, Ohio — With Ohio high school football’s summer period under way, so is the countdown to the 2024 season. To gear up, cleveland.com is bring back its positional team rankings.

These projections are based off what teams return from last season. In April, the Ohio High School Athletic Association amended its 7-on-7 football rules that cleared players to participate in more showcases during the offseason. However, full football practices will not begin until Aug. 1. Acclimation periods can start before then along with 7-on-7s throughout the summer.
