CLEVELAND, Ohio — Cuyahoga County’s top home sale in June, located in Shaker Heights, was just shy of $2 million, marking the first time there hasn’t been at least one sale over $2 million in months.

Nine additional homes sold for at least $1.2 million in June. Two each are located in Lakewood and Westlake and the rest are in Beachwood, Hunting Valley, Pepper Pike, Rocky River and an additional home in Shaker Heights.

The top home in Shaker Heights sold for $1,990,107. The 1923 stone Tudor has undergone numerous renovations and is on a peninsula on Marshall Lake in the Onaway neighborhood. It has seven bedrooms, six bathrooms, and two half baths. There is a three-car attached garage, four fireplaces, an in-ground pool and a lake view. The home sits on 1.13 acres.

The two homes in Lakewood were adjacent units in the condo building at 12550 Lake Avenue, each selling for $1.5 million.

In June 2024, fewer homes were sold at a higher value than in 2023, which had the top sale of the year with a $6.7 home in Cleveland’s Edgewater neighborhood. An additional nine homes sold for at least $1.5 million.
