BRECKSVILLE, Ohio – Cuyahoga County Public Library has recently completed updates to its Brecksville Branch, which include new study rooms with audio/visual equipment and virtual meeting capabilities, a drive-up window and soon a new, more accessible front entrance.

The new drive-up window features a transaction drawer, making it easier for patrons to pick up materials placed on hold and return items without having to enter the building. In the coming weeks, the branch’s front entrance will be replaced with new, wider automatic doors to allow for easier entry and exit.

“We strive for a thriving Cuyahoga County through our strategic approach to providing engaging experiences and best practices in library services,” Tracy Strobel, CEO of CCPL, said in a news release. “We listen to the communities that we serve and work to provide modern spaces that ensure accessibility, convenience and equity across the county.”

The Brecksville branch of CCPL is located at 9089 Brecksville Road. Hours of operation are Monday – Thursday 9 a.m. – 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday 9 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. and Sunday 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.

Cuyahoga County Public Library has 27 branches that serve 47 communities. Its mission is to empower individuals and communities by providing opportunities for all to read, learn, create and connect.
