Sheriff deputies win raises, lose some overtime in new contract; corrections officers to assist with medical transports

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Cuyahoga County Sheriff Deputies recently won raises in a new contract with the county, but they also lost some work to corrections officers in a bid to reduce overtime costs.

The new contract calls for a 2% equity adjustment and a 2% general wage increase this year and next, followed by an additional 2% increase in 2026.
