Mark anchors the sportscasts during the week and does still like to break away from the anchor desk and cover the story of the day whether it’s the Browns, Cavaliers, Guardians or just a great local sports story. He also co-hosts Friday Football Frenzy during the fall, Tailgate on NFL Sundays and our Browns podcast Off The Leash.
His favorite stories that he’s covered are (of course) the 2016 NBA Finals and the improbable playoff run of the 2016 Indians. High school football is a favorite as well, being on the sidelines with a camera under the Friday night lights is just a great time.
Mark joined 19 News full time in 2009, making the move from radio to television after more than a decade at Newsradio WTAM 1100 here in Cleveland. He is a 1993 graduate of Rocky River High School.
When he’s not at the station he enjoys being with his wife and two kids and taking their camper to any one of Ohio’s incredible state parks and campgrounds.
