The minor in journalism allows students to develop essential journalism skills with a goal of understanding how stories can reveal important social truths. Students will take two required courses––Principles of Journalism and Networked Communication and Writing for the Media––which will introduce them to a range of possible interests, including broadcasting, print and online media, digital and emerging media, and writing for the media.
