Druski Reacts to Old Skit Being Compared to Meagan Good Hugging Michael Ealy in Front of Jonathan Majors: 'We All Been There'

The 2021 sketch "Insecure Boyfriends Hate When It's Their Girlfriend's Birthday" was on people's minds.

It’s another example of life imitating art imitating life.

On Thursday afternoon, comedian Druski returned to social media to weigh in on a now-viral video of actor Michael Ealy embracing former co-star Meagan Good. The interaction, which reportedly went down at the PowerPlayers Mix & Mingle event in Los Angeles, immediately caused a stir, as Megan’s boyfriend, Jonathan Majors, was seen standing on the side as Ealy enthusiastically lifted Good off the floor.

The moment drew comparisons to an old Druski comedy skit titled "Insecure Boyfriends HATE When Its Their Girlfriends Birthday.” The 2021 video shows Druski sitting at his girl’s birthday dinner before one of her male friends greets her with a very tight and long hug. Although he tries to play it cool, Druski is clearly uncomfortable with the interaction, so much so that his girlfriend attempts to ease his concerns later that night.

“I don’t know why you’re standing outside. That’s my best friend,” Druski’s lady says. “You know him…you’re ruining my birthday, you’re standing outside. We’re supposed to be inside having a good time.”

One fan tweeted the comedy video next to the Ealy/Good/Majors moment. “Druski skit in real life,” the X user wrote.

Druski was obviously amused by the comparison and responded with a sympathetic message for Majors: “WE ALL BEEN THERE BROTHER.”

According to the Shade Room, Ealy and Majors appear to be on good terms as they spoke inside the event earlier that night. Ealy and Good worked together on 2012’s Think Like a Man, its 2014 sequel Think Like a Man 2, and the 2019 thriller The Intruder. Good and Ealy spoke about the latter project during a 2019 appearance on the Ricky Smiley Morning Show, saying the film marked her first-ever love scene.

“I couldn’t believe it,” Ealy said about the revelation.

“I was like, ‘No, think about it. Every movie I’ve done, literally, the camera cuts right before the love scene,” Good explained at the time. “[Ealy] gets mad when I say this, but I was like, ‘I feel like a 10 year old.’ I couldn’t stop laughing. I was turning bright red.”

“Don’t say that,” Ealy responded, causing the hosts to bust out in laughter. “You can’t say you feel 10 years old before a sex scene. It’s awkward!”
