The Faculty Affairs Advisory Board (FAAB) was established by the Executive Vice Chancellor and University Provost in 2015 to provide advice and guidance on the ways in which the Office of Academic Affairs (OAA) can encourage and support faculty development and advancement across the university. It also serves as a forum for sharing best practices and issues of concern and interest to CUNY faculty.
The Faculty Affairs Advisory Board is comprised of faculty and administrators from each CUNY college. It also includes representatives from the University Faculty Senate and several OAA members. Meetings are held twice a semester.

In Phase 1, 7-10 programs will be selected from this process to be designed by Fall 2022 and available to students by Fall 2023. Phase 2 will have a second RFP in Fall 2022 to select another 7-10 programs for development.
