UPDATE 9/27/12: We have our winners! After much deliberation from Dark Horse Comics crew and help from our partners at THQ we've finalized the Grand Prize Winner and two honorable mentions for the Darksiders Art Contest. We were stoked to get so many great pieces from all of you and can't thank you enough for participating. Below you will see the winners:

Dark Horse Comics, video game company THQ and Prima Games have partnered to feature an art contest to kill for!

Starting today, we are accepting entries for the Darksiders II art contest. We want you to draw Death and be inspired by the beautiful artwork from the Darksiders II video game and Darksiders II comics. Submit your art to contests[at]darkhorse.com by 8am PST on September 24th, 2012, and you could win a huge Grand Prize package!

The Grand Prize winner will receive:

A copy of the Darksiders II video game (PS3 or Xbox)
A Darksiders II Prima guide to aid your gameplay
A copy of the Darksiders novel from Del Rey
All five issues of the digital-exclusive Darksiders II comics

Rules:

1. Submit original art inspired by Darksiders II comics & game.

2. Submit entries to contests[at]darkhorse.com with "Darksiders Art Contest" in the subject line.

3. Entries must be received by 8am PST September 24th, 2012.

Two honorable mentions will receive the entire digital collection of the Darksiders II comics.

I hereby assign to Dark Horse Comics, Inc., and to its respective licensor(s) which my art was inspired by any rights which are not deemed automatically granted by submission of the art, and Dark Horse Comics, Inc., and its respective licensor(s) which my art was inspired by shall have the right to use, and authorize others to use, such art in any manner and by any means and media in perpetuity throughout the world without restriction.

One winner will be selected to receive the Darksiders II Grand Prize. Top entries will be featured on the Dark Horse blog and social media channels. Winner will be notified by email by September 27th 2012. No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited. Must be 18 or older to win. Winner will be based on merit as determined by Dark Horse at its sole discretion. All Dark Horse licensors and creators retain their copyrights and trademarks.
