Rev Run set to headline Hob Nobble Gobble soiree at Ford Field

Hob Nobble Gobble, a fundraiser for the Parade Company, which produces America’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, returns to Ford Field Nov. 17.

This year, hip-hop pioneer Rev Run of trailblazing group Run-DMC is the featured musical entertainment. Born Joseph Simmons, the Queens native is also a practicing minister and has been the subject of several reality television shows and is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

The Detroit Academy of Arts and Sciences choir performs at the Hob Nobble Gobble at Ford Field in Detroit.

The posh, but family friendly, event costs $400-$1,000 to attend, with $200 tickets for children 6 and younger.

Anthony White and the Detroit Youth Choir, Detroit Academy of Arts & Sciences and director Angela Kee and Your Generation in Concert are also booked as entertainment acts. Hob Nobble Gobble will also have food, rides and carnival games.
