Green Day will celebrate the 30th anniversary of its breakthrough album "Dookie" — and, why not, the 20th anniversary of its rock opera "American Idiot" — in stadiums next summer, including a Sept. 4 date at Comerica Park, promoters announced Thursday.

Billy Joe Armstrong and Green Day perform at the 'Hella Mega Tour.'

Tickets for the show, part of the band's the Saviors Tour, go on sale at 10 a.m. Nov. 10 via Ticketmaster channels. Pre-sales for Citi card holders start at 10 a.m. Tuesday. More pre-sale information can be found at the band's website, greenday.com.

Green Day — the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame trio of Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tré Cool — will be joined at the show by the Smashing Pumpkins, Rancid and the Linda Lindas.

The Bay Area rockers announced plans for the stadium tour during a performance in Las Vegas last month. The group's new album, "Saviors," is due out Jan. 19.

The 27-date North American tour will follow a 16-date slate of UK and European shows, which runs May 30-June 29.

Green Day's last area concert was in August 2021 at Comerica Park alongside Fall Out Boy and Weezer.
