Clinton Twp. police investigate scare at movie theater

Police are investigating an incident in which a couple of people yelled “bomb” during a movie screening Saturday, sending customers running out of a Clinton Township theater.

No serious injuries were reported, officials said.

Clinton Township Police Capt. Richard Maierlesaid police are reviewing surveillance video from the theater, the MJR Digital Cinemas at The Mall at Partridge Creek, and continuing to investigate.

The Mall at Partridge Creek is on Hall Road east of Garfield Road.
