Crime Stoppers of Michigan announced rewards Friday for tips leading to arrests in cases involving a robbery and fatal shooting this year.

The group is offering $1,000 to find a suspect caught on surveillance photos robbing a Chase Bank in the 45000 block of Van Dyke in Utica about 12:45 p.m. Saturday, investigators reported.

The man, who was filmed wearing a gray and black hooded sweatshirt, took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing on foot.

Surveillance images show the suspect in the July 14 robbery of Chase Bank on Van Dyke in Utica.

Crime Stoppers also is offering up to $2,500 for information leading authorities to a suspect who opened fire on two people about 8:10 p.m. Feb. 7 on Detroit's west side.

Jalen Wood was arriving with a companion in the 9900 block of Belleterre when someone approached and fired several shots into his 2008 Toyota Camry Solara, officials said.

Wood, a 24-year-old Ford Motor Co. worker, later died. His passenger was wounded but survived.
