The Michigan State football program added a second straight defensive back to its 2025 recruiting class on Tuesday night.

Aydan West, a 6-foot, 184-pound cornerback from Gaithersburg (Maryland) Quince Orchard, verbally committed to play for the Spartans. West made the announcement on Instagram, saying, "Spartan family I'm home!!!"

West made an official visit to Michigan State last weekend, and chose the Spartans among a group that included Virginia, Wake Forest, Cincinnati and West Virginia.

West follows cornerback George Mullins, who verbally committed to Michigan State on Saturday, as the two most recent Michigan State pledges.

A three-star prospect according to the 247Sports Composite, West is ranked No. 91 at his position nationally, and No. 28 overall in Maryland.

He is the 11th verbal commitment in the Spartans' 2025 class.
