Allen Park — The contract figures are out for two agreements reached by the Detroit Lions this week; the re-signing of Graham Glasgow and the pending addition of cornerback Amik Robertson.

Glasgow's three-year deal is worth up to $20 million, including a $5.5 million signing bonus,. He will carry a $3.3 million cap figure in the first year. Here's the breakdown:

2024 — $1.5 million base (fully guaranteed), $1.83 million signing bonus proration, $3.3 million cap hit

2025 —$5.5 million base ($2.5 million guaranteed), $500,000 roster bonus, $1.83 million signing bonus proration, $7.83 million cap hit

2026 —$6.5 million base, $500,000 roster bonus, $1.83 million signing bonus proration, $8.83 million cap hit

The Lions have potential outs in both 2025 and 2026 if they feel the deal isn't working out. In 2025, $4.67 million in dead money remains, but Glasgow's release would clear $3.17 million in cap space. In 2026, that dead money drops to $1.83 million and cutting the lineman could clear $7 million off the books.

Of course, it doesn't have to play out that way. Assuming Glasgow is able to maintain his level of performance from this past season, those 2025 and 2026 cap numbers will feel like a relative bargain against the sharply rising salaries across the league.

As for Robertson, his two-year deal is worth $9.25 million and includes a $3.3 million signing bonus and $4.5 million in total guarantees. There are reportedly up to another $1.5 million in incentives available that won't count against the team's cap unless he hits them.

Here are the details:

2024 — $1.2 million base, $1.65 million signing bonus proration, $2.85 million cap hit

2025 — $4.2 million base, $500,000 roster bonus, $50,000 workout bonus, $1.65 million signing bonus proration, $6.4 million cap hit.

That 2025 figure remains a bargain for a potential starter, and reasonable for a top backup, but the Lions would be able to move on and save $4.75 million next offseason, if they choose.
