DLA Operation Warfighter Program

Operation Warfighter  (OWF) is a Department of Defense unpaid internship program that matches qualified wounded, ill or injured service members with non-funded federal internships in order for them to gain valuable work experience during their recovery and rehabilitation. This program assists with the service members’ reintegration to duty or transition into a civilian work environment where they can employ their newly acquired skills in a non-military work setting. For more information on the Operation Warfighter Program see our Frequently Asked Questions (PDF).

DLA organizations interested in hosting an OWF intern should email the OWF Regional Coordinator, whose contact information can be found on the E2I/OWF Regional Coordinators Map.
