The 99th Logistics Readiness Squadron is answering CSAF Gen. Charles Q. Brown’s call to accelerate change through their new Multi-capable Airman Course.
Throughout the month of May, 99th LRS Airmen went through the MCA LRS course which forced them to step outside their comfort zone and learn tasks not currently defined by their Air Force specialty codes.
This course gets after the ever-evolving Agile Combat Employment construct that aims to produce Airmen that ar capable of multiple specialties’ combat roles. MCA training improves mission readiness and increases capabilities should Airmen be required to serve in less than optimal environments against peer adversaries.
The MCA LRS course is starting with LRS Airmen, but will eventually expand to include all other functional areas that generate the mission.
Fights on!
