- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This is a great book to use with young children who are going through the Tattle-Tale phase. Miles tattled on everyone, all the time. He told about things that were not even wrong. When his teacher Mrs. Snitcher got tired of the tattling (he was not the only one, just the worst one) she came up with a contest. The class was decided into two teams and the team that had the least amount of tattles got an extra recess at the end of the week. They had to recite the Tattle Battle pledge each day that explains when it is okay to tell (if someone is hurt, sick or in harm's way). Eventually all Mile's friends desert him because he will not stop tattling. He learns his lesson about tattling as well as learning when he does need to tell. This is a great book to teach this important lesson. The illustrations are cute, colourful and demonstrate the story very well. A wonderful addition to home, school, class and public libraries. The publisher generously provided me with a copy of this book via Netgalley.
