Jenna Coleman: Victoria and ex Emmerdale star’s transformation revealed in unearthed pics
JENNA COLEMAN currently stars as late monarch Queen Victoria in the ITV series, but the actress used to look a world away from her present appearance in the show, as unearthed pictures reveal.
Victoria: Jenna Coleman to return to screens in season three
Back in 2005, Jenna Coleman, 32, played the role as Jasmine Thomas in ITV soap Emmerdale. During her stint on the show, she sported brunette hair and proved to be a lover of a dark tan. The actress also proved to be a fan of baggy dresses, often flashing the flesh on glamorous red carpets. In one snap, Jenna opted for a plunging white and red dress which unveiled her bronzed legs.
She looks like she has been working out
The actress completed her colour coordinated look with white heels and a red bag.
After leaving Emmerdale following a series of controversial storylines, she moved on to Doctor Who and Waterloo Road.
She now currently stars in ITV’s Victoria, which began in 2016.
Since her early acting days, the beauty has seemingly slimmed down.
The Cry actress has also appeared to have ditched her tan; now often showcasing her natural radiant complexion.
According to Matt Fiddes, who is a personal trainer to celebrities, Jenna’s physique could be down to following a clean diet.
He told Express.co.uk: “She looks like she has been working out as she is toned and possibly on a sensible clean diet.
“As women age they find it harder to lose weight due to hormonal changes in the body.
“And it's even harder for smaller women to stay in shape as they don't need so many calories.”
Matt added the actress has been weight training or another resistance exercise to create her new frame.
Elsewhere, Jenna is currently dating her co-star Tom Hughes, 32, and recently opened up on future baby plans.
In the latest issue of Harper’s Bazaar UK, she admitted she would love to have children but isn’t in a rush.
She revealed: “Half of my friends have babies, and half don’t, so it doesn’t feel like a pressure.
“I want to take my time. There’s a whole lot more of the world for me to see first.”
She continued: “I’d love to have children one day. But not nine of them [Queen Victoria had nine children]. I can tell you that as a fact.”
And the actress insisted she would rather keep her relationship with Tom private, adding: “I think it’s been very wise not to speak about it.”
Victoria continues tonight at 9pm on ITV.
