The racy winner... singer Katherine
SHE may not have a classical running style. But that didn’t stop Welsh opera beauty Katherine Jenkins as she crossed the line in a charity run yesterday.
Spectators said the 29-year-old mezzo- soprano struck all the right notes when she raised funds for a children’s kidney centre.
She even got to start the 10k race in front of thousands of fans as she was handed the claxon to sound the off in Cardiff.
But the instrument was a little less sophisticated than the French Horn, which normally accompanies her during performances.
Fan David Williams watched the star as she later crossed the line in style in a respectable one hour seven minutes. The IT worker, 24, said: “She looked like she was enjoying every minute of it. She looked amazing. Most men couldn’t take their eyes off her.”
