Jeremy Clarkson in swipe at Gordon Ramsay’s neighbours after Cornwall trip sparks uproar
JEREMY CLARKSON - who presents Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? - has taken a swipe at residents who reportedly complained about Gordon Ramsay taking his family to his holiday home in Cornwall to self-isolate during the coronavirus pandemic.
Chef Gordon Ramsay, 53, has been at the centre of complaints from locals in recent weeks, after he decided to flee to his holiday home in Cornwall with his wife and their five children during lockdown.
He’s been blamed for every other damn thing.
Back in April, a source accused Gordon of putting elderly Cornwall residents at risk.
The source told The Mirror: “There are a lot of elderly people down here - it's an elderly population, the average age is 65 to 85, with a lot of people living alone.
"It's a scary time. I think it's up to celebrities to set a good example, not run off to their country homes."
Express.co.uk contacted a representative for Gordon at the time, but received no reply.

Jeremy Clarkson has since defended Gordon in his latest column with The Times.
The former Top Gear host began by commenting on a change to Cornwall’s beaches.
He wrote: “Why have Cornwall’s beaches gone from being the most benign places on earth to being so dangerous that Robert Duvall’s airborne cavalry and a fleet of 40-knot rescue boats are not enough to keep everyone alive.
“Padstow? It seems to me it should be twinned with Basra.”
Referring to complaints made about Gordon, Jeremy added: “I’m surprised the locals haven’t yet come up with a way to blame Gordon Ramsay.
“Since he decided to spend lockdown in his house in Cornwall, he’s been blamed for every other damn thing.
“The Corns even follow him around, waiting to photograph him strangling a dog or stabbing a postman.
“They were no one’s fault. And really, they weren’t even a story.”

Last month, Gordon seemingly took a cheeky swipe at his neighbour as he demonstrated a burger recipe.
In view of his eight million Instagram followers, he said he was going to make a burger in 10 minutes.
The Hell's Kitchen star said if he wasn't able to make it in the time limit, he would donate £10,000 to the NHS.
In a live video, he added: "I’m not going to eat this. I’m going to give it to the neighbours next door.
"Hopefully that might put a smile on their face.”
The chef then jokingly ran out of his front door towards his neighbour’s house, shouting: “Love thy neighbour!"
Gordon is believed to have three holiday homes in total.
The chef has five children; Matilda, Oscar, Jack, Megan and Holly, with his wife Tana Ramsay.
