CAROL VORDERMAN enjoyed an unlikely meeting with an old classmate, while receiving her first dose of the coronavirus vaccine this week.
Carol Vorderman ‘emotional’ after receiving Covid vaccine
Carol Vorderman, 60, took to social media earlier this week to share that she'd had her first dose of the Covid 19 vaccine. Talking of her experience, the former Countdown legend has since opened up on a reunion with an old school pal, who administered her vaccination.
After reviving her first dose, the former Countdown star took to Twitter to share her connection to the woman who vaccinated her.
In response to a tweet from an NHS worker, Carol wrote to her 457,800 followers: "This lady gave me my vaccination in Bristol this morning.
"We were chatting AND she went to the same school in Rhyl as me at the same time. #NorthWales."
Carol went on to talk of how their connection went further, as she had also attended a birthday party of the woman's brothers.
