Danny Miller, 30, was crowned king of the castle in Sunday night's I'm A Celebrity final but following his success, the former Emmerdale actor admitted there were times he wanted to walk away. The truth is that I wouldn’t have been able to afford to walk away from it
In a new interview with The Mirror, Danny spoke out about the sacrifices he made for his family.
He said: "There were a lot of things thrown at us and there were a lot of people saying they wanted to quit.
"They hadn't signed up for this experience."
Danny shrugged as he admitted the Clink was hard and no one actually realised what it was going to be like when they agreed to sign up.

He went on: "But there's no point in me lying.
"The truth is that I wouldn't have been able to afford to walk away from it.
"I think it was a mental challenge for me.
"Everyone in there had their own mental battles, and people in there including me have got their own mental health issues and stuff."
The show winner continued: "I left my job at Emmerdale to go out there and show the world what Danny Miller is about as opposed to the Danny Miller who plays Aaron in Emmerdale.
"And as much as I probably did want to leave at some points, it was never an option, because A, I couldn't afford to do it, and B, I didn't want to do it."
He went on to say that winning was the "best possible outcome", which has made powering on when times got tough all worthwhile.
Danny also admitted: "I never shy away from it that I couldn't afford to walk away from it.

But he revealed the heartwarming reason why was to "set him up for a good future".
"I wasn't financially set for that," he told Ant and Dec on Sunday night.

Ant was quick to agree, as he said: "Oh they will be! They really will be."
