Earlier this month, the TV host took to the micro-blogging platform to announce his return to DIY SOS in the new year, after having a break from the show over breaking strict BBC guidelines.
The presenter found himself in trouble with the broadcaster earlier this due to breaking strict guidelines with his involvement in a Shreddies advert.
In a joint statement, the BBC and Nick said: "Both Nick and the BBC have resolved the issue recently reported relating to Nick’s commercial agreements and BBC guidelines.
“With the campaign still running, Nick will step back from the DIY SOS Children In Need special this year but will be back on our screens in 2022.”
