Talk TV: Piers Morgan chats on vaccination choice
Piers Morgan, 57, has spoken about the ongoing political situation in Downing Street following the resignation of Chancellor Kwasi Kwarteng. The news presenter addressed his 7.9 million followers to say the UK deserved and "urgently needs" better than what he claims the country are currently getting.
Piers insinuated that Prime Minister Liz Truss should call a general election amid the turmoil her government is currently facing.
He said: "Britain deserves and urgently needs better than this ongoing clown show.
"If the Tories can’t get their act together asap and show the country proper leadership (not Truss) at a time of real crisis, they must call an election and let us decide who we want in charge."
In another Tweet, Piers responded to a quip from a Twitter user after the TalkTV host announced he was filming an episode of his show, PM Uncensored in New York.

He wrote: "My New York studio for the week as we take @PiersUncensored to the Big Apple.
"Got some great guests… tune into @TalkTV tonight at 8pm."
User Rupert Myers wrote in response: "Unfortunate timing for a departure from the UK?"
Piers responded in a quote tweet, saying: "I’m still allowed to whack Truss from New York, relax.."
The presenter also went on in yet another tweet to go after Truss and defend Jeremy Hunt for his destruction of Liz Truss' "disastrous" mini-budget, as presented by Kwarteng.
He said: "Hunt just took a wrecking-ball to Trussonomics, the disastrous mini-budget, and to the Prime Minister's reputation.
"Liz Truss must resign immediately."
Users took to the social media platform to share their thoughts on the subject.

"This can't go on. Labour are the only viable alternative. Like it or not that is the political reality."
Jeremy Hunt was called in to replace Kwasi Kwarteng earlier this week.
He announced this morning his replacement budget as he intends to reverse all of the former mini-budget's major proposals.
This includes reversing the freeze in corporation and income tax, so that the government don't have to rely on borrowing.
