Holly Willoughby has awkward on-air 'gimp' blunder
Holly Willoughby's pals have said she has "nothing to hide" amid the inquiry into Phillip Schofield's This Morning scandal.
Jane Mulcahy KC is leading the external review into the facts after Schofield's departure which is expected to be completed in September.
The former This Morning presenter admitted to lying to his colleagues about having an affair with a younger male runner.
Holly is one of many people working on the show who have helped Mulcahy with her inquiries.
A source told The Mirror: “She has nothing to hide.”
They shared that the ITV favourite "fully complied and cooperated with everything that has been asked of her by the KC”.
The source added: “Holly was more than happy to do what was asked of her, and explain her position, and what she knew, and what she didn’t.”
Express.co.uk has contacted Holly Willoughby's representatives for comment.
Speaking at the Edinburgh TV Festival, ITV's managing director Kevin Lygo told the same publication: "She (Mulcahy) has been talking to everybody involved, they take your phone and look at every single text you've ever sent, email, WhatsApp.

"So, everything is available, lots of interviews, talking to everybody and I hope as soon as possible, but probably in September, she will make that public."
ITV bosses have previously shared both Schofield and his younger lover denied ever having a romantic relationship and repeatedly "denied the allegations".
They have reiterated they were only made aware of the relationship when the former This Morning presenter departed ITV and issued an apology.
ITV boss Dame Carolyn McCall appeared before a parliamentary committee (Wednesday 14 June) to answer questions about the broadcaster’s approach to safeguarding and complaint handling after former presenter Schofield’s exit from This Morning.
The 61-year-old resigned and was dropped by his talent agency YMU after admitting to an “unwise but not illegal” affair with a younger male colleague.
Dame McCall told MPs that "we were repeatedly told nothing was happening" and both men denied it "both formally and informally".
In an interview with BBC News, his first since leaving ITV, Schofield said: “I have brought myself down. I am done. I have to talk about television in the past tense, which breaks my heart.”
