BBC The Traitors winner 'exposed' as fans discover game plan in 'revenge' plot twist
The Traitors fan favourite Diane Carson was the latest player taken down as part of the BBC murder mystery but viewers have since detailed an "iconic" twist as the winner has potentially been revealed.
The Traitors: Diane reveals Ross is her son
The Traitors viewers were left taken aback when retired teacher Diane Carson was embroiled in a savage plot twist that saw her “murdered” by a “poisoned chalice” in last night's episode.
Viewers have shared memes and theories online after seeing the Traitors tasked with “killing” a Faithful by handing them a drink as they spent the last five days awaiting the 63-year-old's fate.
Fans of the show will already know that Diane was on the BBC show alongside her son Ross, which came as a huge shock to other contestants.
With her departure viewers have now speculated the show's potential winner has since been exposed.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, @superTV247 wrote: "but IMAGINE if Diane’s murder and state funeral send off subsequently resulted in her son Ross becoming a traitor? Then he avenges his dead mother by taking them down from the inside until he wins the show. Shakespeare couldn’t write this #TheTraitors."(sic)
Viewers flocked to comment on the post, as @molly replied: "Ross Revenge arc incoming. So ready for it."
@SmitheringAdam: "OMG THAT WOULD BE ICONIC," while @DavidMackayyy: "I would live for this."
@sclfc: "Bookmark this tweet now!"
@MatthewD76 added: "We had the exact conversation in our house. It would be perfect revenge."
