This Morning star Juliet Sear has announced she is to become a grandmother for the first time following her daughter's baby news. The professional baker is widely known for her baking expertise and is regularly seen demonstrating her creations on the show, however little has been known about her personal life.

Back in February however, Juliet stunned fans after revealing her daughter Ruby, 23, is starring as Gabriella in Netflix's The Gentleman. And, it's not just Ruby who is famous in her own right, with Juliet's 26-year-old son George also a recognisable face on the screens following his roles in Love, Victor and The Evermoor.

Speaking to Express.co.uk, the mother-of-three gushed over her two children in the spotlight but also shared how proud she is of her eldest daughter away from the cameras, who is expecting her first child. Juliet proudly shared: "She's doing reall well. She's got her own place, she's a graphic designer and is a fine artist.

"She's having a baby in a few months." Quizzed on if there is a worry having two children in the spotlight, she added: "Not really because they've all done things like that since they were so little.

"They've always been out doing things, they've always been away with their classes. Ruby left to live all by herself when she was 16 in LA. The stories she's told me since that have happened, it's mad.

"You can't worry because you've got to let them go and hope they make the right decisions."

Julia expressed just how proud she was of Ruby on her Instagram page ahead of the release of Guy Ritchie's film in February.

Alongside a picture of Ruby from the film, she wrote: "SO EXCITING our @rubysear is in @netflixuk show @thegentlemen COMING SOON! She plays Gabriella, we love the film."

Many of her 152,000 followers flocked to her post to comment, including one who wrote: "Is there no end to the talents in this Sear family??

A second wrote: "So so so ace !!! X."

"Yes Ruby, can't wait," a third added, while a fourth typed: So looking forward to this and seeing your baby girl x."

As well as getting set to become a grandmother, Juliet is currently working on a brand new book, is tipped to replace Prue Leith on the Great British Bake Off, and last month became Leukaemia UK’s newest celebrity Ambassador.

After supporting the chairty for several years, the baker became an ambassador having seen first-hand the devastating toll leukaemia took on a close family friend called Oscar.

She shared: “As a mother of three myself, it was heart-breaking to see what Oscar and his family had to go through. Oscar and my children are very close in age, so we were all shocked by his leukaemia diagnosis and how it affected his family."

Young Oscar had to fight leukaemia twice as a child and was eventually saved by ground-breaking research.

His dad Phil Parry said Oscar is a “living, breathing example of the impact fundraising can have, because he was saved by experimental treatments”.

Juliet will also be supporting the return of the charity's flagship fundraising event Who's Cooking Dinner, which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year.

She adds of her involvement: "Leukaemia UK’s Who’s Cooking Dinner is such a fun event. I am a big foodie myself, so seeing all these wonderful chefs coming together to raise urgently needed funds for leukaemia research is just wonderful. So, it’s even more exciting that I can now support this incredible charity as an Ambassador."

This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV and ITVX.
